In the 1990s, Louis acted as case manager for aspects of one of the most successful patent-enforcement and licensing programs for any inventor, for the Lemelson Medical, Education & Research Foundation, LP, an entity formed by the late Jerome H. Lemelson, who is believed to have obtained more U.S. Patents than anyone other than Thomas Edison. Louis has extensive skills in analyzing technical issues and translating technical thoughts for judges or opposing parties.
