Most ordinary “brokers” fail to provide some (or all) of those services. Ordinary brokers are not lawyers, and their clients need to hire lawyers to review the patents and to complete the contract work. Some brokers do not have technical skills or experts available to analyze patent value. Ordinary lawyers do not assist in negotiations, lack skill in patent-sale transactions, or cannot evaluate patents.
